PDF Complete + Hardcover Kickstarter

We did it! 

Not only is the Bones Deep PDF complete, but we unlocked all funding goals including hardcover copies! It has been a long, wild journey, and wouldn't be possible without your help. Changes and improvements to the final PDF are listed here.

We're adding 100 free community copies to the store page for folks struggling financially. Everyone should be able to explore our weird and wonderful ocean; no crab credits are required!

To fund the high-quality hardcover print run I'm running a small Kickstarter to cover costs. Support the Kickstarter here!

What about my hardcover pre-order?
It's still 100% valid. Pre-order customers do NOT need to support the Kickstarter to receive a hardcover. You may choose to support for the dice and dice bag if you like, but pre-order customers may ignore the Kickstarter without fear.

Wait...didn't we already raise money to fund a hardcover?
Yes! And when Bones Deep was a 30 page softcover zine it would have been enough. Thanks to all of your support we were able to expand the book to its current 120 pages! That's a lot more book, and requires a lot more money. The worldwide paper shortage has also impacted our price estimates. We're taking the opportunity to fund higher quality print copies and sell fancy merch as well.

What if the Kickstarter fails?
We will use the money raised so far and fund a very small, lower-quality print run of Bones Deep (50ish books). No matter what happens, we are dedicated to fulfilling those pre-orders before the end of 2022.
